The history of the old rectory dates back to the beginning of the 17th century. Initially, the building fulfilled the functions of a Calvinist chapel and was erected by order of Andrzej Firlej. The rectory obtained its present shape in the mid-19th century, when it was transformed into flats for the vicars.  Later on, on the initiative of the local parish priest, Józef Tęczyński, a one-storey, brick annex was built, which was meant to serve as a rectory.

The vault of the two-storey tower, which used to house a Calvinist chapel is decorated with heart-shaped and spherically arranged stucco-works. Its creation dates back to the first half of the 17th century.
