A small village by the Giełczew River, that in the second half of the XVI century belonged to the Sobieski family. A wooden church of The Sacred Heart of Jesus beautifully blends in with the landscape of the river valley.

The temple was built in Lublin in 1933-1934 and was originally located at Kunickiego street in Dziesiąta district. In 1985, a decision was made to move it 40 kilometers further to Pilaszkowice. An interesting story is connected with the painting of Our Lady of Victory, from the Sobieski chapel in the now non-existent manor house in Pilaszkowice. According to local legends, Jan III Sobieski took it with him to Vienna in 1683 and thanks to that he achieved a great victory over the Turks. Currently, the painting is located in the church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Częstoborowice.
