It is worth to start the tour from the Roztocze National Park and a visit to Zwierzyniec. This small, atmospheric town attracts attention with the picturesque baroque church of the St. John of Nepomuk. At the park's gate there is the Center for Education and Museum, where the cognitive paths begin. One of them leads to the Echo Ponds - a perfect place for sunbathers and those who like to relax surrounded by water, forest, and beautiful landscape.
Szczebrzeszyn, Krasnobród, Tomaszów Lubelski, Józefów, Susiec, and the famous Szumy at the Tanew river - the list of places to visit is long and full of attractions. A trip to Zamość is a must for every tourist.
Roztocze is also a great place for many activities, such as canoeing, hiking, and popular in this area cycling trips based on professionally prepared trails, such as Green Velo and the Central Bicycle Route of Roztocze.
In 2019, the "Roztocze" Transboundary Biosphere Reserve, consisting of the nature reserves in Poland and Ukraine, was added to the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve List.
Zamość, known as the ideal town, was founded in the 16th century by the Crown Hetman Jan Zamoyski. The city-fortress, designed by an eminent Italian architect Bernardo Morando as an architectural and urban complex, was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1992.
