PUBLIC TRANSPORT
How to travel around Lublin? The main means of transport are busses and trolleybusses. It's worth to mention, that Lublin is one of three cities in Poland when we can travel those "trackless trams". An up-to-date schedule you can find on www.ztm.lublin.eu, and www.jakdojade.pl will help you to plan your journey.
On the day of the matches they have the tickets to, the fans can use the Lublin public transport to the stadium and back for free. On the match days there will be a dedicated "Arena" bus line going to the stadium. Apart from that, reaching the stadium with regular lines will also be possible (bus lines nr: 1, 13, 30, 34, 45; and trolleybusses nr: 152, 154, 161).
If you prefer bikes, there is Lubelski Rower Miejski (Lublin City Bike System) - if you use it, a mobile app Nextbike will certainly be helpful.

SIGHTSEEING
There's so much to see in Lublin! First and foremost, visit the Holy Trinity Chapel, inside you will find the russo-byzantine polychromes founded by our former king, Władysław Jagiełło. Have a stroll around the Old Town (maybe you would like to use our audioguides?). Climb on top of the Trinitarian Tower, which is the highest of the view points in Lublin. If you want, you can visit the Lublin Underground Trail and go through the old town cellars. The Botanical Garden, Zemborzycki Reservoir or the Open-Air Village Museum in Lublin are places gladly chosen by the tourists and the citizens who wish to take a break from the usual city noise. An important place on the map of Lublin is the State Museum at Majdanek. You will realize that there are more places worth visiting!
EVENTS
There's much more to life than football! Lublin offers plenty of cultural events. Those looking for travel inspirations should visit the X Lublin Tourist Fair that will take place between 24 and 26 of May at the Market Square. On the first Saturday of June we recommend the Night of Culture - it's one of the most recognizable events in Lublin. Every year there are many artistic installations prepared specifically for this night. Cultural institutions open their doors and a rich program will ensure everyone will find something for themselves. On 8-9 of June it's worth to take a trip to nearby Świdnik, where Świdnik Air Festiwal will take place for the second time - the event will surely attract the fans of sky-high acrobatics.
LUBLIN CUISINE
The most famous Lublin snack is cebularz. It's a round-shaped flatbread seasoned with onion and poppy seeds. Before war it was baked by the Lublin Jews. You can buy it in almost every grocery store. We recommend trying those from local bakeries, for example the Kuźmiuk bakery that's been here for years. Lublin region is famous for good quality hop, which is an essential ingreedient of a good beer. The most popular brand here is Perła, but in the Old Town and in the nearest area you will find more kinds. Who's more hungry than thirsty, should try local treats: Lublin forszmak - a kind of thick soup, great pierogi - served in many Lublin restaurants, Lublin schabowy (pork cutlet), or groats dishes, such as piróg biłgorajski.
TOURIST ATTRACTIONS OF THE LUBLIN REGION
Quite close to Lublin lie historic cities which delight with their unusual atmosphere and interesting architecture, as well as places with still wild nature. One of the place that is particularly popular among tourists, artists, and couples is Kazimierz Dolny. Situated by Wisła river has a historic market square, ruins of a medieval castle, and a famous view from the Three Crosses Hill. Zamość known as the renaissance pearl is another must-see. Large, regular market square surrounded with colourful townhouses with arcades, the townhall, cathedral, and the bastions. It's no coincidence that the city is listed as a World Heritage Site. From Zamość is just a stone's throw to the Roztoczański National Park, the land of picturesque hills and green forests. Visit charming Zwierzyniec, climb the Bukowa Gura, and see the Polish Koniks in Florianka. Poleski National Park is a realm of a crane, moose, and an European pond turtle. Marked wooden nature paths will lead the tourists to the most interesting corners of the Park. If the weather is fine enough, one can do some sunbathing by the nearby lakes. About 70km away from Lublin lies Chełm with its underground chalk route - a unique remains of the chalk mining in Europe. There are many more interesting places in the Lubelskie Region - Janowskie Forests, Bug River Valley, Nałęczów, Puławy, Włodawa, Biała Podlaska - all waiting for you to discover them!
